Ludington Again

Big Sable Point

The second trip to Big Sable Point was much different than the first. We packed the car to be ready for anything. Since it was late in the summer, raincoats turned out to be very important. Bus rides across the 1.5 mile path were being offered for $1.00/person. Since we had already hiked the path before and the rain began just as we arrived at the State Park, we were more than happy to pay the fare.

There were tours to climb to the tower, so I waited in line. Jim was wearing the bright yellow raincoat. When I finally made it to the tower, I took a photo of Jim, and tried not to get the camera too wet. We browsed through the gift shop after I returned to the ground. As soon as we were back at the car and driving into town, the rain stopped. We also visited the Ludington pier, which was closer into town. No photo currently available.
